Chinese Medicine is a holistic form of medicine, which means that it covers all aspects of a person’s life.  These aspects extend to diet, lifestyle (including how much quality time and time out we all get – sometimes not much!), living environment, emotional state and stress levels, genetic factors, physical capacity, as well as individual personality.  Practitioners take all these things into account when devising a treatment plan for their patients.  I make treatment plans that are sustainable for patients so that there is not too much resistance when making changes in their lives.  Sometimes baby steps can be taken, but sometimes it’s necessary to make drastic changes fairly quickly.  It entirely depends on each person.
